Carlsberg Kazakhstan Almaty

In collaboration with GTS – Geisbauer Technical Solutions (Germany), we undertook a project to relocate and optimize a complete filling line for the Carlsberg Kazakstan. The entire production line, originally based in Cambodia, was dismantled and moved to Kazakhstan, where it was to be reassembled and optimized for full-scale production. This project required seamless coordination between teams and precision in addressing both mechanical and software-related challenges during reinstallation.

The Challenge

Relocating an entire Sidel filling line—including a Sidel Paletizer and Sidel Filler—posed significant logistical and technical challenges. The production line needed to be:

  • Started up and tested to ensure all components were fully functional after relocation.
  • Optimized for efficient production, with several hardware faults, mechanical issues, and software bugs identified during the installation phase that required immediate attention.

The goal was to ensure the smooth transition of the filling line into its new location while minimizing downtime and ensuring the equipment operated at peak efficiency.

The Solution

Our team worked closely with GTS – Geisbauer Technical Solutions to successfully reassemble, troubleshoot, and optimize the filling line. Key actions included:

  1. Sidel Palletizer:
    • Conducted a complete start-up of the machine, addressing and resolving various hardware faults.
    • Performed mechanical adjustments to ensure proper alignment and function after reassembly.
    • Implemented software corrections and improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Enhanced overall production output through performance tuning and system adjustments.
  2. Sidel Filler:
    • Completed the start-up phase, systematically identifying and solving hardware issues.
    • Carried out mechanical corrections to resolve reassembly misalignments and optimize machine functionality.
    • Introduced software enhancements, troubleshooting bugs, and improving operational performance.
    • Carried out production optimizations to increase throughput and efficiency, ensuring the filler performed at its maximum capacity.

The Results

The successful relocation and optimization of the filling line delivered substantial improvements in both operational performance and production efficiency:

  • Improved Machine Performance: Both the Sidel Paletizer and Sidel Filler were fully optimized, resulting in increased reliability and reduced downtime.
  • Enhanced Production Efficiency: Software and mechanical improvements led to smoother, faster production, helping the client achieve higher throughput and more consistent operations.
  • Long-Term Reliability: The line now operates with greater stability, providing the client with a fully optimized, reliable production setup ready to meet the demands of their new market.

Through close collaboration with GTS, our technical expertise ensured the successful relocation, start-up, and optimization of the filling line, positioning the client for continued growth and efficiency in Kazakhstan’s competitive beverage market.
